I don’t do a lot with my parents anymore either. But 2 or 3 weeks ago I went to Michael Stanley Band with my parents and although MS is old it was a lot of fun.
Black and Tan refers to the uniform of a force created to fight IRA. They became known for destroying civilian property and attacking civilians. My Uncle explained it to me (he’s Irish) a couple years ago and I just Wikipedia’d it now for a refresher.
When we were younger my sister wanted Get Rich or Die Trying badly. My parents constantly said there was no way they were getting that for her. Come Christmas morning there was a small gift sitting under the tree with her name saying it was from 50 Sant(a). Still makes me laugh. My parents are so lame I love it.

Best has the right idea. Chill vacation at a beach house in South Carolina with the family. Private beach access and heavy drinking while loudly singing Matchbox 20 with my dad. Party vacation is just about anywhere I go in which a family member is not present.
Great sport to get into. Was lucky enough to be born into it. Been hunting mostly pheasant and chucker since I was 10. Going down to Texas to a ranch for deer in November with the old man and brother. Beyond excited. Find somewhere to shoot skeet or trap and it’ll get rolling in no time. Also we belong to a hunt club that has all sorts of accommodations ( I live in northeast Ohio) so that made things easier.
