By no means am I defending him, but I remember watching him on The Bachelorette and him being painfully awkward. This couple is definitely easy to hate. I can appreciate the picture that you chose too. Excellent attentiveness to detail, Will.
Thanks to the article from Improper Bostonian about reading more, I’ve started reading “Modern Romance” by Aziz Ansari. The entire book basically just throws stats at you to show how different dating is for us than it was for generations before us. A large bulk of the first half of the book (I’m only halfway done) is about how we just play games with each other. The situations of “I’ll text you back 26 minutes after you texted me because you waited 19 minutes to respond to my previous text” is so incredibly stupid, y’all. I obviously do this and play the game because like NurseJackie said, girls can’t appear crazy or clingy in any situation. If we all just dropped this bullshit about playing games and not wanting to appear too needy/clingy and just be like, “Hey, I like you. Let’s go out”, the world would be much less confusing….easier said than done though.
Personally, I would be a huge fan of the Nap Date. Along with the questions you mentioned, you find out if they snore, drool, or talk in their sleep. As someone who talks in their sleep, I need to know if my potential SO does too. The Grocery Store Date seems like the ultimate test to me. I would be nervous having someone question the items I buy. Yes, I’m buying almond milk to save calories and be healthier but I also need these two boxes of Little Debbies…
Do y’all think Microsoft is trolling us all by being wildly bad at attracting Millennials so we will keep talking about Microsoft? That’s the only logical answer for something as crazy as this.
The real question here is if Will is fixing to start answering readers relationship problems in the form of PGP article. Maybe series called “Will Talk”?
Awesome article. I really think that by time we all have kids and they are grown and in their 20s, getting married later in life is going to be the norm. Trends obviously shift with each generation, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see people getting married much older as the norm in 30 years. I would think the divorce rate would go down too.
What kind of sorcery allows for people to work out during lunch and come back to work? I would be a sweaty mess that looks like they were ran over by a truck if I did that.
Of course Girl’s first priority was getting the wedding hashtag so she can post it to the ‘gram and of course Caroline had one picked up before John proposed.
I don’t get anxious unplugging for a few hours, but I do get anxious walking into bookstores because I don’t even know where to start. Would happily take recommendations!
I won’t deny that I’ve been trying to plan a weekend trip to visit Magnolia in Waco. I’m not sure what’s worse. My obsession with Chip & Joanna or the fact that I’m planning a weekend trip to Waco.
Crescent Rolls are really so versatile! You can also put pepperoni inside of a crescent roll with a piece of string cheese cut in half and bake them. Dip them in some ranch and you’re good to go!

I don’t know how this works….”Sup?”

THIS.
This is so spot on. Absolutely incredible work.
Regardless of their platform on the important issues, this is a group I can get behind.

I can’t even deal with this on a Monday morning.

Can confirm.

That would’ve been by-far the nicest offer I ever received on Tinder.

The only message I’ve gotten all day is an alert from my bank saying my balance is low.

This seems like a good idea. This is my vote too.
