I’m just saying it’s worse for the teacher in that scenario because if he just mails it in and gets a 20 those kids are going to tear him a new one all year
Old guys are social in the locker room because it’s one of the few places where there’s no women around. I, for one, have fully embraced old man locker room etiquette. There’s nothing like using out-dated euphemisms to talk about attractive women while in a 180 degree sauna with some old-timers. You stand to learn a thing or two as well
Are all of these statistics by dollar value? If so, their outsized share could be that they have more disposable income and spend more than I do on the average bottle of wine (actually, I buy boxes, tyvm).
Even if they aren’t dollar values, people under 18 make up ~23% of the population and (presumably) don’t buy very much alcohol, so you’d expect baby boomers’ relative share of the quantity of alcohol consumed to increase by ~7.6% on that alone, making these stats much less significant.
the drugs being expensive can cause part of the effect observed in the study. People with higher salary can afford to have kids in their late 30s, and more intelligent people tend to have higher salaries.

Raising a kid can cost $500k by the time the fucker reaches the postgrad stage. That’s easily enough for the boat you’ve always wanted.
Boat or walking, breathing disappointments. Kind of a no-brainer to me
