the French is nice, but the Sunday morning of the Wimbledon final produces Scaries-curing vibes at its finest. Green court, white athletic wear, Kate Middleton, strawberries and cream, and soft commentary.
My sophomore year of college I was having a foursome with one of my buddies and a couple of girls when we got into a session-wide argument over music. My buddy and one of the girls ganged up and decided to just put Nirvana on shuffle- a decision I couldn’t at all comprehend. I sat out a few minutes and fucked with my phone in protest
Fair enough on the second point. To the first point, the industry talking point is that if content providers can pay ISPs, then the Internet is more profitable, and therefore it will become more profitable to invest in infrastructure, hence improving Internet access for the consumer. To your point, this is a tacit admission that they’re probably not interested in lowering rates (though disruptors like Google Fiber and U-Verse could still force them to), but they are still stipulating that the end user will share some of the benefits in quality and access. They’d also say that’s a win for those areas normally too poor for internet infrastructure to be profitable. Thoughts?
Thanks for your article, do you mind if I posit one more anti-NN argument that has given me pause? Right now, end consumers pay for the entire cost of accessing the Internet, which conveys to you data from some of the world’s biggest and most profitable companies (Amazon and Facebook). If these companies, whose shares of Internet data usage is larger than that of the rest of the Internet, have to pay ISPs to prioritize their product, then less of the cost of providing the Internet to me have to be borne by me. In short, if ISPs can make their money from content providers, then they won’t have to make it from consumers. I do not mind one large corporation screwing over another. However, I do mind the idea of content providers (news sites, Reddit, Facebook) mobilizing their customers against a regulation that would be in their own self-interest. What’s the counter to this?
Due to unforeseen circumstances I now have a handle of Absolut under my desk. I don’t actually drink it, but I don’t want to walk out with it because then I’ll really look like an alcoholic
You don’t make enough money pushing Lipton to charter a yacht in Ibiza. A lot of these women are escorting and taking pics while they have access to their clients’ nice shit
Back in the day we would just steal toilet paper from the building with the university’s highest-ranked offices. One unlocked janitor closet could supply a frat house with a month’s worth of household goods
Perfectly acceptable when both participants in the conversation want the same team to win (usually the home team). If I’m in Chicago and I ask someone “What’s the score of da Bears game?” and they say “14-28,” everyone knows that the Bears are losing (again) without anyone specifying.
Also, I think it’s worth mentioning that Jamon Iberico is something best eaten in moderation. I bought some in la Boqueria not knowing they’ve give me a half pound of the stuff, and after eating it I knew I would vomit if I even looked at the fernicular
I was actually relieved not to see the headline “Things Girls Do After Graduation: Swing”

I was imagining a Michel from Gilmore Girls’ accent, but way more flamboyant
Isbell has a cover that also wouldn’t be bad for some slow thrusting

I think you’re onto something there

Matching with your boss, PGP
Matching with your boss’ boss? PGPM
He’ll give it to her, she’ll take it to a jeweler and have the stone put in a more “modern” setting. And have “that old hideous” setting thrown away
This. If a genie granted me three wishes, one of them would be to experience female orgasms.
Btw, for ladies who’ve never experienced one, I’d recommend a Hitachi wand and a bubble bath

I wrote my state representative about an anti-vax bill she introduced. Someone has to write the angry letters, so it might as well be us

That’s not Micah’s Twitter. No excuse for that now that he’s verified

Was that product placement from Jimmy John’s?
