I agree he’ll probably never get back to the NFL, but I have to say, regardless if you agree with him or not, its obvious he’s out of the league for reasons other than lacking the ability to play the position.
I think MVP awards are a crap shoot. Sometimes they’ll give them to the best player on the best team. Sometimes they’ll give them to the best player regardless of the team’s record. However if the award is actually given to the most valuable player then the teams standing in the league shouldn’t matter. It should be given to the player who’s team’s record would go down the most if they were out. I don’t think the Cavaliers and Lebron fit the criteria because they are in the weaker conference and have two all stars. They could still make the playoffs. Kawhi is on a team that has been to the playoffs two straight decades so he’s out. If its in between Russ and Harden I give it to Westbrook. Remove Harden from the Rockets and Westbrook from the Thunder and I think the Thunder would be worse. Westbrook should get the award.
I was dumb and stayed with a girl who I found out was doing this because I thought once we had been together long enough it would stop. I came to the conclusion that people who do this don’t want to truly end up with the person they’re with; they just don’t want to be alone. They’ll jump ship if someone they think is better comes along. No relationships where this happens will ever succeed.
