Girls absolutely do not need to approach guys to get a date. However, it will only increase your odds of getting a date. I think it’s easier for a girl to pick up a guy than vise versa.
In my experience when I make eye contact and I don’t approach it’s because I don’t want to directly approach you. It’s not that big of a deal, I make eye contact with 3-4 girls at every bar. I’ll usually wait and make an over the shoulder comment later to one of them.
If I ever posted anything awesome about my life/job other people would get jealous. However, every time I talk about how much my coworker’s ticks piss me off its pure gold. So the only things I can talk about is the shitty side of life.
Then there is that whole office party thing, any date you bring meets your parents. So you can only bring someone you are serious about to dinner. Then when you don’t bring a date you are faced with the old, “what’s wrong with you, why are you single?”
They say save up 3 months pay for a ring, but if you were in love wouldn’t you rather have him take off 3 months from work and spend what could be considered “summer vacation” with you?
I completely get this, I have a sad little ikea table from my 300 sq ft studio, now I have about 1,000 and I need a table that says “adult”. The chairs are like $300 each… Fuck that.
