I read Extreme Ownership and while I really learned a lot from the lessons in it, man, it desperately needed a ghostwriter, because that was tough to get through. Writing was not great. But again, love the lessons and love Jocko’s passion and his service.
I think he turned it around. A friend of mine saw them in like January 2016 at the concert when he hit rock bottom, but from all accounts he’s gotten better and when I saw him in November last year he was outstanding as always.
Drinking like scumbags tonight for the birthday party of a very good friend I haven’t seen since January. I’ve been told Four Lokos maybe be in the picture as a throwback to college days. I’m terrified yet intrigued.
A) I 100% agree with you and think you’ve absolutely done nothing wrong with those first two texts and B) don’t send a fourth unanswered text. Let it go, man, as hard as it is.
Gotta work about a 3/4 day, then headed down to New Braunfels to float the river, see a Ryan Bingham/Steve Earle show, and drink every beer presented to me. Happy Friday, y’all!
