He quit the team. He wasn’t showing up to games. All he had to do was sit on the bench and be a part of the camaraderie. He bailed on the team, the team got pissed at him for not even coming around, and then he played the victim and then wanted a trade. I have not read a single report indicating that they pressured him to play on a bum leg or didn’t believe him. Maybe Parker’s line “mine was 100x worse” was out of line but Parker did acknowledge injuries are hard and he respected him. To say that Parker should be ashamed of himself is ridiculous. Nobody knows what was said in the meeting between Pop and Kawhi when Pop flew out there but I have no reason to believe Pop was out of line.
Fuck out of here with this disrespect towards Pop. He’s one of the best coaches the game has ever seen and just because Kawhi let his uncle get to his head, doesn’t mean you get to come in here and say that Parker and Pop should be ashamed of themselves. You should be ashamed of yourself for failing to read about what happened and assuming Kawhi has zero fault in all of this. Even after it all, I’m happy to see Kawhi healthy and kicking ass again. You should look into showing some respect as well.

I don’t doubt there’s committed owners out there who successfully made it happen but its hard to make good habits stick when the dog can do whatever it wants for 8+ hours a day while the owner is at work. And leaving a dog in a kennel for 8+ hours a day is fucked.
When I said neighbors in the first sentence, I meant all the other neighbors who most likely share your feelings. Not the ungrateful, spaniel-owning neighbors.
You should talk to your neighbors about this if possible, and suggest coming together to stop the madness (strength in numbers). Citronella collars work wonders – the device is attached to the dog and when the dog barks, it shoots a little spritz of citronella into the air. A majority of dogs for some reason hate citronella and they eventually learn that when they bark, they get a big whiff of the stuff, correlate the two, and stop barking. You and your neighbors could all pitch in to buy one together ($40-$70) or leave a note on your neighbors door signed from everyone.
I understand your sentiments. I love a well trained dog. Our generation somehow convinced themselves they can train a dog by themselves while working 40 hours a week, and subsequently end up with an obnoxious, poorly trained dog; I do not like these dogs. To any readers, do not be one of these people – get an old dog from the pound that’s already trained who just wants to sleep in your apartment.
It gets even better when both sets of parents are divorced and remarried, and you’re forced to split time between four sets of parents. Parents expect you to start choosing and your holiday is essentially spent pleasing everyone else instead of getting to enjoy family time.
What is never brought up is that there are different kinds of horse girls – English and Western.
Girls that rode/ride English are typically the more entitled ones (although some girls who ride Western come from crazy rich farm/ranch families and are also entitled AF). English riders aren’t too weird and typically fit in with the popular girls given their families’ socio-economic backgrounds.
Girls that rode/ride Western are the ones who are a little weird as they often come from sheltered rural backgrounds. The families are well off enough that the girls can ride horses but not always super rich so their behavior and etiquette isn’t too proper. As mentioned by the top comment, the girls who are obsessed with ONLY horses. Western riding is also a little bit dirtier (as mentioned in the article) so they’re not typically the popular girls.
While there are many exceptions to the descriptions above, any girl who is confident controlling a 1-ton animal will fit the broad definition of “crazy” in at least some way.

People rarely change and the above comments about true colors coming out with time are spot in IMO. People I’ve known who actually overcome anger/abusive tendencies typically change a significant part of their lives when they do so (read: stop drinking).
Have you ever beer bonged sparkling wine? Toss a small shot of vodka into the bong and you won’t even be able to taste it over the dryness and sharp carbonation. That’ll get you wasted.
