To me phone interviews are the easiest part, the hiring manager gives more details about the job and asks if you’re still interested. Obviously you say yes and talk about XYZ on your resume which is similar to the ABC that they do. I dont remeber not getting an in person interview after a phone interview. Congrats on the new place that will hopefully suck less than the old place.
I feel like Amsterdam gets confused as “Vegas of Europe” when it’s really its own culture. The number one thing I regret about going to Amsterdam was not buying one of the inappropriate lawn gnomes in a few shops in the red light district. A lawn gnome with a massive penis busting through a table is something i need in my yard some day. Also, Heineken is a few blocks from the Van Gogh museum.
Well its your money, Spend it however you want. Personally I dont like the idea of working until I die or trying to live off social security if it still exists so I save money for later. If someone wants to ball out and live paycheck to paycheck thats fine, but I won’t be too sympathetic in 50 years when I read articles about how retirement is *impossible*
Ive always thought not splitting rent evenly with your SO is a bad move, if one of you cant afford to live there you probably shouldn’t be living there since if the person with the higher income loses their job, youre both pretty screwed. Obviously there are exceptions, if youre buying penthouses and your SO is rationing ramen cups its unrealistic to think they’re going to pay for half of anything if you move into the penthouse. But for regular people, living way above one of your ability to pay for is kinda asking for issues.
Girl with the crazy potential in-laws- just remember apples dont fall far from the tree.
Started dating my SO around when tinder got big so ive never used them either. It seems fun to quickly assign a pass/fail grade to someone but then I think of how hard it would be to find a long-term SO and it gives me an anxiety attack just thinking about it.
My SO and I dont want gifts but were still putting together a registry since our families will buy us gifts if we want them to or not. If the couple said no gifts, no gifts should be okay.
Its fun when a manager who doesn’t know anything about the product gets involved because they will say something stupid while trying to make it seem like the project is going well to the customer, then just point out they’re completely wrong and give them a shit eating grin as they glare at you.
In my extremely limited job hunting experience, recruiters haven’t been particularly helpful. Generally I hear from them once, asking if im interested in a position thats not really related to what I said im looking for. Ive had MUCH more success just applying to websites.

This should be renamed to “Getting Back In Rachel”

All of these are infinitely better than the million meme lord accounts spewing the same stupid crap

Undefeated except for that time they burned the white house and our only major victory was after the peace treaty
As a GoodyearWelt aficionado I have a hard time wearing sneakers with jeans, say nothing of with a suit

This made me get another coffee
Kink Girl- thats 100% my biggest fetish, if my SO asked me to do that I wouldn’t think twice. Different strokes for different folks.
These kids will never know the thrill of being shot down via note passed by her friend between classes.
I wish I could @ my SO
