TWIF is running early today because Grandex is taking an elementary-style field trip to see a movie around lunch time. There’s some talk of parlaying that into a happy hour downtown but that’s TBD. Probably the core squad only.
There’s also been some talk of golf tomorrow but a tee time has yet to be secured so it’s a strong maybe at this point. The weather should be great. I need that round. I got a little taste of victory last weekend after eight months of no golf and now I’m fiending for more.
That’s all I’ve got, really. Lots of red wine is in my immediate future, too, but that’s about it. Should be pretty lowkey.

I have a weekend that could rival any of Girl’s typical weekends so I’ll share and prepare myself for the downvotes.
Tonight, birthday dinner for my roommate/best friend at a Mexican restaurant that boasts 40oz margaritas. One of the squad bailed for a bumble date so there will be a lot of tequila infused shit talking.
Tomorrow, similar squad with some additions, are having a Galentine’s day brunch. I know, I know. But it’s BYOB so the champagne will be flowing and Leslie Knope championed this idea and I support Leslie Knope.
What kind of squad member bails on a friend’s birthday for a date? That just made me so fucking mad.

Today off. Tonight I’m going to see 50 Shades Darker with my old roommate. It has 9% rotten tomatoes so I don’t know why you wouldn’t go see it. Tomorrow I’m going to Baltimore for the day then grilling and drinking by the fire pit. Sunday I have a brunch date. It’s going to be a great weekend.

Going to hit up Sedona tomorrow and do some hiking with an old high school flame. For any of you ever considering visiting the Grand Canyon just know that Sedona >> Grand Canyon, in my opinion.
