I go for location convenience. If you’re choosy about what you’re buying, the prices aren’t terrible. Their own generic brand is okay price-wise. However, if you’re being Girl and buying fresh-caught sea scallops and heirloom produce for some stupid dinner you want to Instagram, then you need a trust fund.
No one HAS to stay home, but not all careers enable both spouses to work full time and have kids. The reality is, if one spouse is a corporate lawyer/consultant/banker/successful salesperson, and their job requires extremely long hours and travel, something has to give. Unless the couple hires a full-time nanny, the other spouse has to take a job with more normal hours and more availability for their kids. Again, this totally depends on the career combinations of the couple. But I don’t think it’s healthy to keep promoting the “everyone can have it all” narrative when it just can’t happen sometimes.
I work for the company that messed this up. This partner is not just a partner, he’s the chairman of the board of the US firm. Which means they’re firing some poor manager or associate instead of him.
I recommend starting out either with a simple class, or a power yoga class where you’re guaranteed to get a good workout no matter how many moves you can do. Men come to my yoga classes all the time, and no one thinks twice about it.
Not very hungry, since I ate two caramel-filled brownies during the work day. Might have a glass of wine with a snack of fruit and vegetables, because I haven’t hit my 5-a-day yet.
If you want a large refund and are single, file single zero, basically claiming zero deductions. Usually gets me back about ~2k. Which I then use to pay my accountant for doing taxes and pay whatever godforsaken states I worked in their extra state tax they want from me.
Depends why you’re calling an Uber. If you’re feeling cheap, or it’s particularly cold outside and you can’t bring yourself to take public transportation, Uber Pool can be a great option.
And to actually answer your question, I find the quality of their salad bar, soups, deli food, and frozen fruits and vegetables is worth it.

I PULLED A NEAR ALL-NIGHTER, SO IM ABOUT TO GET FUCKED UP ON COLD BREW. I WILL FINISH MY TO-DO LIST, AND I WILL NOT WORK THIS WEEKEND.
Good luck! I’ve gained 5 lbs of stress eating weight, taking my total to 25 lbs to go.

Complex accounting? They COUNT votes. Tedious and requiring focus, sure. But come ON, it is not complex.

A whole pint of halo top and a bubble bath
A vegetable wrap with basil pesto, and a side of french fries. Also, prosecco.

Chicken noodle soup, pineapple and berries, lox, almond butter. I do not know how to put a meal together.
Not having enough energy to pretend I have my life together. PGP.
A combination of savings, student loans, and spending money for vacation.
You’re only allowed to complain about $80k if you live in NYC or SF.

Pasta with well seasoned marinara sauce and roasted vegetables. Unfortunately, I realized too late that I don’t have any wine.
I work with some compliance officers. Their work days are extremely chaotic and stressful.
Wine and vegetables. Am I balancing my diet correctly?
