Travel for work with other mid-20s coworkers fairly regularly. One time in a small North Carolina town we had a similar revelation, now it’s commonplace. I like the new-age style bowling alleys with several bars and stuff, but something about the smaller, cigarette smelling places really gets me going. Great stuff! Merry Christmas.
Question/Observation: It seems that there are two camps of “sell-outs”. First you have those that fully sell out with recipe, brewing rights, and distribution rights. Second, you have those that just lean on regional or national distribution to get their beer into broader areas. My issue is within the beer culture that just trashes people that were making money and the “look down the nose” mentality that someone is drinking a mass produced non-generic beer. Finally, there are a number of craft breweries who have ramped up production to meet demand (it’s called business) by opening east coast or west coast hubs (ex: Ballast Point, Green Flash, Stone).
Also surprised they didn’t try to toss the ole “joint bachelor/bachelorette” party. One of my wife’s bridesmaids posed that and we both told them it was a stupid fucking idea.
And on the PTO front. Thoughts on someone using a long weekend for their party (MLK, Memorial Day, Labor)?
Had a great boss/mentor tell me and some colleagues, “If you can’t start getting your job done in 40 hours a week, you’re fired.” Obviously, he was half kidding, but the message was to stop the superfluous shit during the work day so you don’t stay late all the time.
Part of it is a generational issue too. Our (millennial) generation, on average, sees no reason why we can’t be great at everything. In a positive way, it makes us competitive and driven. The flip side is this seething narcissist. Typically creates a “grass is greener” mentality that I personally fight and ole Centrum Silver said earlier. Keep on plugging everybody.
if the shoe fits. But I’m not talking about having big enough hands. What i’m talking about is the necessity of an mini iPad mini. The razr is coming back soon, so we all know the iPhone’s days are numbered
6s Plus is too fucking big. A 6 is large enough as is. The plus is indeed for girls and I assume they only make the plus in rose gold. Girl from TGDAG has one as does Kendra.
I’d almost forgotten that Will has a girlfriend since he hasn’t referenced it in a week…

Why do you think we’ve created a much different or fun-loving culture here, while TFM commenters bitch and moan all day?
Unrelated, love the podcasts, and keep up the great work. It’s almost 5 on the east coast everyone!
Every stereotype of white people and the entire eastern seaboard are confirmed. Whole lot of roman numerals in that crowd.
Remember that time you were doing seasonal beer reviews. Yeah, me too. Get back to your liver desecration, please! It’s for the kids.

Brought to you courtesy of the red white and blue.
Okay. Thanks for your input.

Level 1, 2, or 3?
the worst are the places that serve out of the tiny artisan looking glasses. Two big sips and you’re done.
We already make up a near majority of the workforce. Kick him in the face and end this shit.
Highly doubt it. Plus HUe sounds like a fucking loser.
Well I’ll be damn if the kid ain’t back at it.
