I picked up Bikram two months ago, and the most annoying is the older lady who insists on sticking around in the hot room after her class to do headstands and things of that nature. She’s still around after the usual 15 minutes and thinks she’s hot shit because she’s like 50 and can do that kind of thing. Meanwhile, I’m getting ready for class and not all zenned out yet and mostly just want to push her over.
I also love red lipstick, but what actually usually happens is guys never talk to you while wearing it so I end up way more sober than usual because I have to buy my own drinks.
This is just me somewhat questioning number one, but I don’t know a whole lot of girls who are strictly attracted to power and wealth. Personally, it stopped driving my behavior when I dated a guy who worked 70 hours a week and was barely around. Stability and wealth are totally different – sometimes I don’t think guys completely understand that. The rest seems…well, accurate from my perspective I guess?
I’m so thankful I’ve been too busy (read: haven’t made time/my dog is cuter/drinks are more fun) to go to the gym in the past month, but yes, all of this.
Did you see a couple weeks ago when that girl blogged about 23 things to do instead of getting married? I grew up in the South, so it was met with tons of responses from the marrieds talking about how their lives were better and getting judgey because someone was having more fun with different lifestyle. It was all so amazing.
I read about two of these before I started getting stressed out. My worst nightmare is having someone propose and having to say no. I mean, it has to happen to people occasionally, right?
This comment is admittedly a month too late; however, the book thing made me laugh. I had a bad breakup in August with a serious boyfriend then my cousin give me a book about what to do before you get married. The explanation that she had bought it while we were still dating accompanied the gift. I had absolutely no idea what to say.
Ugh. I hate when they won’t make plans. Ambivalence is not attractive. I also have a slight counterpoint to the dream thing – I love when guys are driven to be successful, but I don’t want them to forget about me or constantly choose work over me. That makes me lose interest pretty quick.
You spelled Candace wrong. Just saying – it’s in the Instagram name.
Ugh. I’m going to miss Look Who’s Talking.
I can relate to about a third of these things and wouldn’t say I’m a skank or trashy. I never went to SMU though, so maybe I just don’t get it.
I HATED THAT MOVIE. Well, the ending. The rest was good. But that wasn’t the point of this comment, I don’t think.
Anything with Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck cannot actually be crap if only because of the eye candy portion of what makes movies watchable.

I just had four (4) various Chick-fil-a sauces while I consumed an eight piece #5 meal at my desk by myself. Life is going well for me.
Love this: ” If you wonder when you should text or what you should say, the answer is always ‘do it now’ and ‘say whatever you want.'”
Six and seven are totally accurate.

Highlights can be done in a non-trashy way, too – they’e fun in the summer. But it’s currently ombre brown/red – I’m sure you were wondering.
I like a guy in a nice tie, but JT and Adam Scott are about the only two who can pull off the skinny ties, I think.
Admittedly, I’m occasionally starved for attention, but not love. I’ll consider it, though, if it means I get to look like Jennifer Aniston in my 40s.

Also, agree with all of this. I hate pants.
I think I need a little more time. I also just hyperventilated at even seeing that.
