I enjoyed this article because it was funny, but seeing this played out is not as great as it might sound. My gf’s mom is the sole breadwinner of her family, and her dad was a stay at home dad. She is not close with her mom at all and her mother gets jealous of her relationship with her dad. It’s also put a strain on her parent’s relationship with each other, because now that they are empty nesters he has nothing to do, and they are struggling financially. It can work, but behind the scenes, there are a lot of issues people don’t take into consideration.
