I went and saw Cesar Mora at a competition 1 month after he landed the first 1080. I hung around after the vert competition and I got his autograph. At that time, it was the highlight of my life. I also wore soap shoes to class and would grind the hand rails in the halls in between periods.
I wanted to go to camp woodward more then anything and my parents wouldn’t let me. They saved me by not letting me go. I can barely live with being a skater now, but making a trip across the us to go to a skate park… I don’t know how I would have recovered from that.
Will, after you write these articles does your girlfriend want to have a “talk” or does she just take it all in stride? I read these and get nervous on your behalf.
