Random question, but why Uber over Lyft? Lyft treats their drivers like humans, has an overall more functional and reliable app, doesn’t have the same vulgar media presence or history of misogyny and repeatedly violating their passengers and offering nothing more than a virtual shoulder shrug as apology. Whenever I take an uber the driver talks about how bad the app and company sucks but more people use it so they continue to drive.

I can’t understand why so many people start acting like common relationship practices/concepts are alien to them when they are not in one. Why designated couple nights? I mean… Why designated girls nights? Or sibling nights? Because they’re fun and you want to commit to spending time with these people. Why pet names? Because inside jokes. Do most well adjusted adults grow up and realize that the One is an unhealthy fantasy that can never be realized? Yes. Does an article on the Internet facilitate this process? No, not usually.

According to him men will rarely build friendships with women that they don’t find attractive because in order for the relationship to be meaningful the potential or desire for sex must be there (unless she is attached to a man of value).

I understand that train of thought if you’re screening for partners but pursuing friendships with women exclusively you’re attracted to does call into question what you value in women. If you all truly believe that a man can’t or won’t pursue or maintain a meaningful with a me member of the opposite sex if outside of the context of how she looks and her relationship status, fine… But call it what it is.

It sounds to me like you feel that women are valuable friends primarily within the context of sex and how attractive you find them. But You value your friendships with men enough to respect their girlfriends. You can’t respect women outside of the context of their relationships with men you value? Uh…. Ok. It’s a shame that you can only find inherent value in men whereas a woman’s value is contingent upon if there is potential and desire for sex.

It’s not out of fear that cops are running a sting… That’s v psycho. It’s because underage drinkers show up and act crazy or get alcohol poisoning or injured in some other way or creepy frat bros (many of whom can probably be found here) l drug them and then the bar is outed as letting in underage kids.

  • IDontCare 9 years ago on I Finally Traveled Abroad And I Wasn't Impressed

Lol i love it when people search for all their own country’s comforts and ways of life in another country and then berate the culture and whine and complain when they don’t find it.

Good on you for trying to but pleased just stay on your couch with your Bud Lite or whatever. If you must leave the country again stay at a Hilton and limit your exposure to non Americans. It’s quite embarrassing when Americans like you travel abroad.

It’s not wrong to question the morality and depth of guys that essentially have to pay to make a group of friends in college….the easiest place on earth to make friends free of charge. It often seems like frats attract the deviants of college society, dudes that can’t naturally stumble upon friends that will support their decision to rape drunk girls and be racist and wear Sperry’s

Seeing as many people at the gym are already feeling kind of vulnerable and self conscious it’s pretty unfair to judge them this harshly simply for working out. I like to write scathing, judgmental stuff on the Internet just as much as the next scowly millennial, but America is fat AF and mocking people for trying to not be fat AF is not helping the problem. It’s better to mock people for wearing Sperry’s and drinking shitty beer.

Why do so many of you still work in cubicles? I haven’t seen an office with cubicles since the early 2000s. Although cubicles are more conducive to productivity, they are also your company’s way of announcing that it is run by grandparents and/or republicans.

Do you wear a bra? Are you familiar with what happens to them with frequent washing? Do you know how much a nice, comfortable bra that fits costs? Especially if you have an uncommon size

And do you bleed from your vagina? If youre caught without a tampon do you just decide the less gross option is to bleed through your underwear and clothes rather than make a temporary tampon?

    Please, I’m burning to know.

The people on this site seem to not understand the humor in hyperbole and over dramatizing things. I primarily communicate in eye rolls and deep sighs and most people understand it’s a joke. These people are only entertained by slapstick comedy preferably about shitty beer, misogyny, and/or bowel movements.

I think this article is a funny concept but could be executed better if it was not written in second person. Very few pieces succeed in the second person.
