Uh, yeah, you can totally blame them for this. If you want Sunday nights and holidays off, don’t work at a fucking jail. If I lived in Chicago I obviously wouldn’t want every major event to automatically coincide with a short staff at the local lock-up. It “reinforces the negative perception that government workers are lazy and undeserving of their compensation” because, well…
He literally lists off five things he did in a touristy part of midtown midtown within a fifteen block radius of each other, and then goes “once you’ve seen the city once, you’ve seen it all.” Like, please, you haven’t even come close to seeing it once, let alone it all. There’s millions of intelligent postgrads with actual experience living in the city. If PGP wants to run an article bashing NYC, fine, but at least have someone write it with some semblance of an idea of what he’s talking about.

“I have visited periodically growing up” and “I now fly up once or twice a year on business” mean you don’t know anything about living in NYC. I’ve lived all over the country, and New York is in a class by itself in the US, period. No other city in North America is like it at all.
She also notes that she used to live “further east, near NYU”, which means she’s probably in the West Village now. A nice 1br loft there will easily run you 4k+ per month, though I’m sure she can easily afford it.
“And this continued on through college too. No matter how shitty your summer internship was, it was (almost) always still better than being at school.”
I feel bad for anyone who went to a school so boring that this is true.
Honestly, who gives a fuck? I’m a huge Michigan fan/alum and still follow the team very closely. There are players on the team that (while younger than me) I am a big fan of. I don’t even have a UM football jersey, but I don’t care if other people my age wear them to games. You’re supporting the team.
Meanwhile Bryson DeChambeau sits locked away in solitude in his golf dungeon meticulously whittling away at raw iron to craft the perfect single length set. Only to still probably finish behind all four of these guys at the US Open.
Will, Michigan or MSU growing up? Can’t tell based on your content. I believe you said you were cheering for MSU in the tournament (lol) but Todd went to Michigan.
Much more importantly, there are 59 days until the first fall Saturday of the college football season.

That is un-fucking-inhabitable. And these people say living in the cold is crazy…
Well if those things are what you *enjoyed*, I think it’s safe to say you didn’t really do that much.

You’re right lost my chill there for a second. The rents here will drive anyone a little mad.

“the average Manhattan loft is $2,000+ per month”
Wayyyyy more

Peaky Blinders cut? Please, Kim Jong Un has been rocking that look for decades.
Literally scrolled down to suggest them. So, so good.
I’m sure a study done by DirecTV for the purposes of promoting a television show was completed with the most rigorous scientific standards.
Greg Maddux?? Peyton Manning?? Some big missed opportunities on here.
There aren’t any real nice restaurants in Times Square.

Even the best review makes it sound terrible.
