This reminds me of the time I semi-drunkenly applied for an “Associate VP” job for a mid-level company here in Chicago. As you can imagine, a 24 year old asshole is woefully under-qualified. I must have slipped through the cracks though since I actually got a phone interview that went pretty well. A week later they were nice enough to give me a call and politely decline as they were looking for someone with a little more experience. Have to imagine the HR person who okay-ed my resume got fired.
