Sadly at my gym, it’s the individuals who go the most who observe proper gym etiquette the least. We have the opposite problem in people think they don’t have to pick up after themselves because they’re “regulars.”
If this took place in a large city, then yes, it would have received more attention and probably would have been addressed, but you’re talking about a small county of only 80,000 in Wisconsin. I live in Minnesota, and we never heard of this case.
