I can agree with that, it does appear to have a bias towards California restaurants. I’m sure some of the places don’t deserve a spot on this list and a lot of great and worthwhile places outside California were left off for whatever reasons.
California actually does have this much great food, I’ve been to a few places on the list and they all have really good menus. California is a huge state with a lot of big cities LA/San Diego/SF each with a huge diversity of restaurant options. But a lot of upscale cities between those cities as well like La Jolla, Newport, Santa Barbara.
Valentine’s Day is usually a week or so after the SuperBowl which makes a lot more sense why there’s a spike in births 9 months after the month of February/the SuperBowl.
I played pitcher when it was machine pitch, essentially just stood on the mound and tried to field anything close to me as one of the coaches fed the ball through the machine. One of the first guys up in my short debut on the mound crushed a line drive straight into my Adams Apple which lead to a nice visit to the ER. That’s one of my first memories of playing the great sport of baseball.
