This reminds of me of the time that Bacon and a few others were canned from TFM. It effectively killed that website and community, and I fear this round of cuts may have a similar effect on this site. Hope everyone affected can land on their feet.
I don’t drink coffee, never really saw the need for it. If you get enough sleep at night, you can make it through the day just fine. It was something I never wanted to get hooked on, so I avoided it. It’s not really some big challenge, your body doesn’t have to rely on something if it’s never experienced it in the first place.
Not new on a production basis, no. On a large scale Japanese whisky is new in the U.S. in the last 10-15 years. People here are just starting to understand that the Japanese make some of the best scotch style whisky in the world. It really didn’t pick up steam until Suntory bought Beam.
If you get a chance, grab some Japanese scotch. They are obviously new to the game, but already killing it. Yamazaki 12 is a nice intro bottle, or splurge for Nikka Coffey Malt. Scotch is an acquired taste for sure, but a slippery slope once you’re hooked.
Agreed. I’m getting married in a few months, we had no interest in engagement photos. Everyone has to learn that the only thing people care about that relates to your marriage is getting drunk on your dime at the wedding reception. No one outside your own family and yourself will talk about your wedding beyond the day after.
I think this decision will turn out just fine for you. I know dating apps are part of the modern dating culture, but society functioned quite well for thousands of years without them. None of us are here today because our parents met on an app. Focus on you, live your life, and in due time I am sure you will meet someone in an organic way, just as every other generation before us has.
If you play a top 100 track, always pick up a shirt or hat. You’ll get the most use out of it. If you get on a course much higher on the list, make sure to pick up multiple items of clothing. I was lucky enough to play a private club in the top 10 this past weekend, only bought a logo’d quarter zip. Got home and realize it had somehow been stained in transit, and likely won’t be coming out in the wash. I’ll probably never play the course again, and regret not getting a lot more merchandise, as all I am left with is the memories and a scorecard.
Cupola for the sunset, dinner out at the Woods after is my go to play. Cupola is always fairly empty, something I have never understood considering the views and the vibe. I don’t think a lot of hotel guests even know it’s up there.
Kostons were an all time great shoe. Sadly they stopped making them and I had to switch to Osiris. Great memories of my mom bringing me to Zumiez at the mall.
Food trucks provide options, that’s what makes them great. When I’m sick of eating Jimmy Johns, Chipotle, etc, for lunch, I can walk the same distance to about a dozen trucks, which serve a variety of food. Sure, a few of them are noticeably sketchy, and those should be avoided. The rest of the trucks generally serve high quality food and they’re surprisingly a lot cleaner than some of the full restaurant kitchens I’ve seen.
My girlfriend and I don’t have an anniversary, and it is a wonderful thing. Everyone gets so caught up in the years, months, etc together, but what’s the purpose? Comparing it to others? So long as we are together, the length of time is irrelevant.
A few years back I discovered Sydney Hale Co, haven’t looked back since. 30 bucks a candle is steep, but they last a long time and the scents are incredible. Woodsmoke+Amber as well as Tobacco+Sandalwood are my go to.
Stone, Founders, and Lagunitas are my go to on this list. The big conglomerates are desperate to own most of the brands on this list, Ballast Point had 50M in revenues and sold out for a billion dollars, talk about a nice return for whoever owned that.
I’m staying in GR for thanksgiving, looking forward to my first visit to Founders. Have you had the No Rules viatnamese Porter from Perrin (also in MI)? Absolutely crazy beer

Drag me! I deserve that.

XRP? Yikes.

I welcome fall as it marks the return of dark beers. A barrel aged stout is a real treat on a cold night.

Exactly. Oh no ill be missing out on dating thousands of liberal journalists who pre write tweets and stay up all night waiting for Trump to tweet.

Surely we do at the State Fair.

Question: do people actually leave vibrate/ring on their phone when they go to bed? And respond if someone texts or emails in the middle of the night?
I put mine on do not disturb. Sleep time is precious, I don’t need anyone interrupting me, but genuinely wondering if I am alone in this mentality.
You also enjoy stouts?
