Well, that’ll ruin your commute.
Grand Central Station, the busiest train hub in America, is currently at a standstill as the result of a signal transmission problem on the Metro-North line.
Apparently, Grand Central suffered a power outage in its main control center causing the massive departure & arrival boards to malfunction, which has left hundreds, if not thousands, of business commuters stranded in NYC for the time being.
Currently, the New York Daily News reports no trains are running in or out of the Big Apple. So if you have plans in the area, or are expecting to fulfill them with a friend or colleague traveling through Grand Central, you might want to get in touch with them ASAP if you haven’t already.
Here’s what the scene looks like right now:

For the sake of many Friday mornings, let’s hope this is all resolved in a convenient & timely manner.

For the love of Friday mornings let’s hope this isn’t sorted out so I can work from home
Look at all those fucking sardines; I dare you to tell us how great your dirty, overpriced city is now.
Are you always this disgruntled? I’m concerned.
I was until I moved back to the country, seeing this resulted in a PTSD flashback.
