I don’t know whose idea it was to allow Bill Walton to dress as Uncle Sam during Clemson’s win over Alabama in the National Championship game, but this person desererves a raise (despite the fact that they probably got fired).
What we know about Bill Walton: He’s a hall-of-famer first-pick center out of UCLA who now goes off the handle commentating on ESPN. He’s also an avid fan of The Grateful Dead, which essentially means he’s an advocate for marijuana in every sense of the word “advocate.” Straight up – dude likes to get high.
During ESPN’s all-access coverage last night, Bill was caught on multiple occasions discussing marijuana. And it was so heady.
Oh, do ya, Bill? None of us could tell by your insane amount of rants and Google results when you type in “bill walton grateful dead.” You burn, bro, and that’s cool with everyone.
But the question we really want to know more about is how you feel about marijuana as a Schedule I drug.
And there we have it.
“Marijuana should not be a Schedule I drug,” Bill told the rest of the panel while still dressed as Uncle Sam. Spoken like a true Dead fan who’s definitely going to catch a couple legs of their upcoming summer tour with John Mayer.
Never change. .
Dead and Company is great by the way. Definitely recommend.
Agreed. I prefer Mayer over Trey, however the “Comes a Time” tribute to Jerry Garcia concert is pretty sweet if you haven’t checked it out Used to be on nugs.net.
Got my tickets for summer tour…pretty pumped
Well, he’s no wrong.
*not. And I didn’t even smoke today…
That’s clearly the problem
Pretty sure Walton spent a summer with the Dead in Egypt. Dude knows how to have a good time.
