Can confirm that this is awesome. Our “dating anniversary” is the day after Christmas so I can consolidate that into one. Now all I have to remember is our wedding anniversary.
My girlfriend (now wife) was making 35% more than me when we first started dating. She is now in a top 3 MBA program so needless to say, she will be out-earning me post grad. The education gap bothers me sometimes, but the money part has never bugged me and I wish I could pinpoint why so I can share with you. I have a good job and make really good money, so perhaps I don’t perceive my salary as inferiority, rather, her salary is vastly superior. Your boyfriend’s eventual wage doesn’t sound terrible. I’ve heard of teachers earning in the upper 5 figures. 60% of a VP’s salary at a tech firm sounds like decent money. It sounds like it’s a money issue WHILE he’s in school. What you have to look out for AFTER school is if it is no longer a money issue, but becomes a less-money-than-his-woman issue. If it’s the latter, he needs to get over it or you need to get over him. Otherwise it will be a perpetually reoccurring conflict in your relationship which can only be resolved by him making more than you.

There is a difference between a head mash and a “more please!” head push. I don’t mind an encouraging head push when I’m down there.

No control over TFM content is such a cop-out. Perhaps this column should have been written by Madison?
What if I’ve been fishing for a “sup” and have been unable to get any?
