My dad had open heart surgery a few weeks ago which sparked lots of life changes with my parents and in turn my brother and I have definitely reversed roles with my parents. It makes you feel very mortal all of the sudden.
I’ve never noticed this until now (because now I’m thinking about it) but whenever I pee at a guy’s house, the seat is always down before I need to put it down. So guys when you know a girl is coming over do you put the seat down? or is the seat always down?
It’s FINALLY my last day at this job!!! I’m going to clean out my office, not answer any emails, and then leave early & head to a $10 all you can drink bar!!
My new job has a very high turnover rate (found out after accepting the offer) and this morning my boss yelled at me in front of my interns…so the girl who left this job is taking me and the interns out for multiple drinks tonight. Time to bitch.
Mid-year staff retreat, at which I will contribute nothing because I have 15 days left at this job. Tonight, I’m picking up pizza and my friends are coming over to celebrate the holiday.
Shark Rotator Lift-Away @Target, was around the $250 price with a 10 year warranty. After researching myself I went mid-price with as many HEPA filters and dog hair lifting brushes they had. It has gone above and beyond my expectations- came with easy clip-ons for couch/chair cleaning and does well on both hardwood and carpet.
Agreed, Natalie. My mom has always told me that in addition to absolutely no white, any dress that could upstage the bride should be avoided; I’ve followed that only because 1) in the realm of the white rule, the bride could easily wear a short dress (my mom did this) and 2) because even if the bride is chill AF, weddings can make anyone a little uneasy of upstaging. It’s their special day and I’m happy to wear a solid color/classic pretty dress.
My cousin did a hangover brunch for everyone who wanted to come the next morning- it was glorious. Definitely a bigger cost on their end but as a guest it was incredible to have two open bars and two amazing meals in 24 hours.
If she’s only 5’2″ then this guy can’t be taller than 5’8″ judging by their instagram pictures together. If he was dating 5’10” swimsuit models…something just doesn’t add up

Friend got me this for my birthday and it makes my whole house smell amazing in 10 minutes.
My mom bought me “campfire” from Yankee and it’s the perfect amount of fresh, cozy, and a little manly instead of feminine. 10/10 would recommend.
