I had a friend who worked at a banquet hall in high school and she told me that the card box gets stolen more often than people think. I always write a check for extra security.
I am glad someone else did this too! We had 1 day between the wedding and the honeymoon and my fiance and I made a point of going to the bank. We had more checks than our mobile deposit app allows, plus cash. I felt really uncomfortable leaving my house alone for 12 days with that much cash in it so I made it a priority. On the other hand, I was a little concerned the check writers would notice it was cashed less than 24 hrs of the wedding and think we were tacky. Glad to know I am not the only one
I have never been on a family plan (both parents get cell phones from work) so I have been on prepaid since high school. $35/month isn’t too bad….you just have to pay full price for the phone.
Along the same lines as the DMV, the county clerks office. I recently applied for a marriage license and everybody at the office was; applying for a CPL, applying for a notorized birth certificate, or applying for a marriage license.
The CPL applicants scared the shit out of me. Case and point, the guy sitting next to me smelled like he hadn’t showered all week…and now he is legally able to conceal carry!
It drives me crazy when I see people who don’t work or go to school hire cleaning services. It feels so wasteful! I know a few SAHMs who do that and I never understood
Good to know I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know what mintade is. A quick google search reveals its a citrus juice made from oranges, limes, grapefruit, lemon, and mint leaves
Agree. I went on a pedal pub this past Spring and had a blast. It wasn’t too hot (I wore a longsleeved shirt and didn’t sweat). When everybody pedals its not too strenuous. And we used pedal pub during a bar crawl so we were able to visit multiple bars in various areas of the city without having to coordinate Ubers.
The person steering (who works for the pedal pub company) is sober. Peddlers are only providing power to the vehicle. Thats how pedal pubs get away with it.
Also, in Michigan pedal pubs still have a no “open container” policy, but they tend to turn a blind eye to people who bring Yetis or Tervises aboard.
I feel for you. After for struggling for two years I finally passed the last section last May. Everybody feels dumb when they study for the exam so don’t worry.
Studying for the exam is different than studying in undergrad or a MBA program. My biggest advice to you is to do MCQs until you can’t stand it. The questions are so recycled you’re bound to see variations of the same question while taking the “real” exam. Also, flashcards. The exam tests your ability to retain information so run through flashcards whenever you have a spare minute here or there.
And good luck. See if you can beat my personal record of getting a 74 on FAR…twice…and it causing you to lose credit for the first exam you took.
Myself, my sister, and my best friend from college all lost weight in grad school from all the stress.
Theres a limit to how much you can do in a day. We would have had to do it over multiple days if we deposited all our checks using the app.

What is his twitter username?
As much as I love Eastern Market, its a 30 minute drive for me. Another good option in Southeast Michigan is Randazzos.

Why is she doing her hair in the kitchen?

You must have wandered to PGP from TSM. Its about time you saunter on back.
Disregard. I just realized it was a debit card. Carry on
A $132 charge put you over your credit limit?!

I had a good experience, but to each his own.

Thinking $13/bottle of wine is expensive when you’re used to two buck chuck. PGP
44,000 pounds is actually $57,000 USD. Even with the shitty post-Brexit fx rate it is still pretty sweet
Also, that means he spent $36k USD on coke, booze, etc.
WTF DeFries? First you post TGDAG late. Next you don’t explain why she needed to apologize to Todd (from the last episode)…
