Weird thing about North Dakota, the bars are more packed during the winter (-10 weather). Mainly because theres nothing else to do so might as well go out and drink. During the summer, everyone is out at the lake or out of town so the bars are empty.
Serious suggestion from someone whos gone on dozens upon dozens of Bumble dates: Dont do dinner, keep it simple/casual with drinks at a cool bar. Dinner on a first date is the most awkward thing ever, and basically youre slowing down the only thing you two want to do anyway, which is get as drunk as possible and sloppily make out.
Dinner should be reserved for the second or third date, once you guys have established that you actually like each other.
Literally these are the same exact annoying bios that all girls have on bumble. Without a doubt every girl with the “I love to travel” phrase in her bio, if I ask her where shes traveled to she usually says Colorado or California. It just goes to show you that we are all unoriginal af. Guys and girls just mirror each others bios in hopes that we will fall for the stupidity of it all.
I don’t think its possible to get a brand new BMW for 30k, the friend likely had a used lower end model. I’d say thats not rare at all for most upper middle class suburb high school students? At my high school kids were driving brand new Hummers and 50k trucks.
Great article Madoff. I graduated college at the worst possible time, in the midst of the 2008 recession, NO ONE was hiring. I started out working crappy 30k/year jobs out of college. I kept working hard and hustled my way to better jobs. I now make mid six figures working for an oil company, in a down oil economy. I survived several rounds of layoffs and things are looking better next year. I truly believe you create your own luck/opportunities.
Just some advice: Any random guy you meet up online will always be considered a date. No guy wants to meet up a strange girl and be just friends. Heck, no guy wants to be just friends with girls period. Unless you are unattractive.
Im right there with you brother. Having to take explosive shits whole on dates is not very fun. I never know if i will be constipated, have diarrhea, or be completely normal. Ive been able to keep it under control for the most part: cut out coffee, no dairy, no cheese, no spicy foods, limit fried foods. Fight on!
I love seeing the looks/attitudes change of the recent college grads who come to the realization that adulthood and professional life arent all its cracked up to be. Its not “changing the world” or “pursuing your passion”, its more so grinding out the daily, monotonous 8-5 like everyone else.
Agreed, Id much rather do a couple week long trips to the Caribbean every year and relax/drink at the beach, as opposed to some trek around Macchu Pichu or journey up a mountain that requires physical effort.
Can confirm, I started going gray in my mid 20’s, now Im 30 with a good amount of gray on the sides and on my beard. The chicks love it, I used to dye the sides black but stopped after ladies kept commenting how hot the gray was. Women were opening me on bumble with compliments of the salt and pepper look. I am now fully committed to the salt and pepper look for life.

I’ve had this discussion with plenty of girls I know, and after some back and forth they typically agree that most of their guy friends would probably bang them given the chance. If a girl is attractive and she is my friend, I will probably try and bang her. If she is unattractive, I will not try and bang her but theres a high likelihood that she will see me in a romantic way.
Two Single, attractive guys/girls cannot be platonic friends because they will want to bang each other simple as that. Ive hooked up with most/all of my true female friends, but when they step into relationships we dont talk or hangout as much and I am fine with that. We were basically friends with benefits.

Actually if its Pappas Steakhouse, its considered to be one of the top 1-2 steakhouses in Houston.
