Kiawah – I’ve been meaning to ask you this. You’ve mentioned Glassdoor in several of your articles and I was wondering honestly how reliable you think it is? I feel like online reviews are just the rantings of disgruntled people and should be taken with a grain of salt. But job hunting is serious business and it’s tough to figure out how to get a gist of a place… especially when you’re planning on relocating. I’d just like to know what you think.
I’m a big food snapper. If my food looks awesome or I *actually* cooked something, all my friends MUST see it. However, would 10/10 vote to remove the dog/butterfly crown filters from Snapchat forever. That shit’s gotta go.
I’ve never ever understood the “guy has to text first” thing. If you want to talk to someone, just do it. That’s it. If you’re always texting first and feel like they don’t make the effort to reach out ever, then stop, he’s just not that into you. But don’t worry, your other several Bumble matches are. I swear, so many women NEED to up their confidence. You’re good enough and any guy with a brain would definitely crack a smile if your name popped up on his phone.
Personally I avoid talking about politics on social media. It’s not that I don’t feel that politics are important, I just think that so many people are horribly uninformed and/or don’t know how to form their own opinions. I also don’t like to get into unnecessary arguments. I think there is a time and place to discuss these things and 11pm on Facebook is neither.
No this is good! After my ex and I broke up I got an opportunity to move to a different state and it’s cool and exciting! Breakups suck but there are always really awesome opportunities that come with freedom to help cushion the blow.
I’ve never had my read receipts on because I forget to text people back constantly and I don’t want all my friends to think I purposely ignore them 24/7. I just can’t be trusted to keep up with a text conversation.
I never understand why people make such a big deal out of “defining the relationship.” If someone really likes you, it should be pretty clear it’s heading there. But idk I’m a pretty direct person. A “hey, we’re exclusive right?” shouldn’t be that big a deal. And if he says he doesn’t want to be then you have your answer.
Thanks to all the drama surrounding the election I’ve “unfollowed” the hard majority of my followers. I don’t have much on my feed beyond food videos and animal pictures. Life’s much better that way.
All this talk about DH makes me miss Big Papi… I shouldn’t be reading PGP while working night shifts. *sheds a tear*
Brilliant analogy

Completely agree
You had me at the first “sup” 😉

We need a character limit…
Just imagine a world where all first dates are brunch dates… I may shed a single tear

This is the most action I’ve gotten all week. PGP
You called an uber to take you to your date, but your car was magically in the parking lot and he kissed you against it? Where’s the consistency?
Suuuuup
Oh, for sure. Don’t let me catch you “sup”-ing anyone else.

Sup?
Friends* not followers. I can’t even keep up with the lingo anymore. PGP.
