Same as above. Getting a house (renting of course) in Alexandria, Va next month. The ball and chain won’t be moving down til February, so until then just me, myself, a yard for the first time, and a grill. All are welcome to come gripe about work and drink beers.

I’m almost 27. I’ve been asked when I’m going to propose since 25, and have been stressing about turning 30 since 26. This article just mind-fucked me.
We didn’t get bonuses last year, but my bosses bought a 3rd “toy car”. No bonuses this year but they got a 3rd vacation home. 3 must be the lucky number…
My dad had a heart attach when I was a sophomore in college (he’s ok). I’ll never forget going home a few months later for break, opening the fridge, and seeing a 6 pack of O’Douls in there instead of the standard Iron City. Puts stuff in perspective for sure. While it was a bad situation it definately brought us closer
