Basically I thought I would be walking into a room only full of white woman. And yes, it is the majority, but I was happy to see there were other members of all races and backgrounds.
For the record, I am in a Junior League chapter in the south and it has way more diversity then I honestly originally thought it would have. Makes me really proud!
YES to the fake candid pic. One girl I know from Junior League went through a bad breakup a year ago and since then she’s gone batshit crazy setting up photo shoots of her alone in her apartment like “Headed to a baby shower!” or in her college teams jersey “Let’s go team!”. And it’s at least 3 or 4 times a week. The best was one she posted the other day of her laying on her stomach on her bed, facing away from the camera “reading” a book with some dumb quote about reading more this new year. To me it just screams I’m insecure and I survive on likes to make me feel worthy.
And yes if it bothers me so much I should unfollow her. But her craziness is entertaining to watch–don’t judge me. We all have people we hate-follow.
This website has always been a light in my days at the office. A nice escape from reality. When I first read this article today my heart literally dropped. I can’t believe they are letting go of two of their most popular employees (especially right before the holidays? Trash move.). I hope Grandex realizes what a huge mistake this will be moving forward. Stay strong Will. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
Does anyone have any suggestions on games to get that aren’t Cards Against Humanity or What do you meme? That’s all I own and they have their fun moments but I’m always looking for new games to play while getting completely shitfaced.
Dinner with friends tonight, headed to Knoxville tomorrow to watch my Vols take on the gators. It’s a night game which means more then likely I will be borderline blackout by kickoff. I can’t wait.
I drunk tweeted at John C. McGinley wishing him a happy birthday (of course calling him Dr. Cox) and he favorited it. I don’t want to say it was the best day of my life but it was pretty far up there.

2. I’m dogsitting this weekend so I”m going to take the pup to a local dog day festival happening tomorrow. Then going to a cookout at my parents house with the boyfriend
3. The return of TGDAG. It’s been too long.
As someone who went to Bonnaroo this year that is bold as hell not to take a day off the Monday after. I’m pretty sure I slept for like 14 hours that day and still felt exhausted the rest of the week. You’re a trooper though!
