Hi! Dolores Park is great for day drinking, the Mission for Mexican food and grungy bars, Haight Street for the views. I had family visit me, and as lame as it sounds, we did one of those double decker bus tours and it was such a great way to see all of the city and be able to hop on and off at any point. Avoid the Tenderloin, SOMA, and FiDi are pretty dead at night. You’ll find some solid going out spots in North Beach and the Marina. North Beach Tupelo and Maggies are great bars, and The Tipsy Pig and The Dorian are fun in the Marina. Welcome to the best city in the world!
