I specialize in damage control, being the drunkest at any and all functions and social assassination. Always appreciate a strong gif game.
Follow me on Twitter. Sometimes I put up cool stuff about golfing at the local dirt tracks.
You can’t force someone to like something. Not everyone takes the time to seek out new sports because it is something that “you don’t know if you don’t know”. College football and basketball are probably my most watched sports due to my alma mater and I never played either.
The point of this article was solely to bring awareness to what many people are not watching due to not having a reason to. Hockey has many strengths like being fast paced, few commercials, few politics, the players are generally in trouble with the law infrequently, there is hitting, fighting, poetry in motion, the players aren’t paid stupid sums, the list goes on. Maybe people like reality shows and the stupid drama that ESPN pushes, I don’t know.
Check out the below link, it sums up what many new hockey fans find when they give the sport a chance. NFL, NBA, MLB, hell NASCAR have been mainstream for many years.
Lacrosse is awesome. I wish I played it instead of baseball. My knees (I was a catcher) wouldn’t crack nearly as much and it is so much more enjoyable to watch than baseball.
The Rangers don’t pay my mortgage and I don’t work in the industry. I play beer league in a state with 3 rinks in the entire state. I’m a big college bball and football fan but most professional sports are the same thing over and over and you have commercials every time the game stops. The NFL has a similar offense for every team. Baseball is great to watch in person but there is more action on The Price is Right when you’re watching it on TV.
You are fundamentally wrong on the popularity part. While in blog form, the statistics in the below article come from reasonable places like the Harris poll and ESPN. Hockey has grown steadily in the past 30 years. As well, the original title was “Hockey is the best sport and it ain’t even close” but I can see why it was changed. Finally, I don’t give two shits if people like or dislike hockey but for a society that loves fast pace contact sports (or do they?) hockey is constant action.
Happy to report negatory on that, Mr. Sausage King of Chicago. I never asked and I don’t really want to know, although I know she was talking to some fat redneck. This was also like 10 years ago.
Great read. I would punch freshman/sophomore me in the face. Move in with your first girlfriend? Great idea! This one has a happy ending though. Broke up first month living together, she got herpes and failed out of college.

That’s a weird way of spelling Let’s Go Rangers!
Mich ultra is the mopeds of beer. It is the only “beer” that one should be shamed for drinking.
Slack is the best of all worlds
I wish I had the desk space.
I’d be 3 bills if I got dessert as much as I wanted to
Glad someone got the reference at the end.
Thanks Mr. Dolphin!
Well she hunts head so yeah probably.

I’m in too deep now but I wish I knew about this earlier.
