Is there a group that is more full of themselves on this site than the “finance bros” that comment on all of these articles. Some people might find the content useful no reason to be a dickhead about it
As Mr. Tom Hanks said above Quiplash is a great option and you have to actually be original (think cards against humanity with only the black cards, you have to come up with what to fill in the blanks completely on your own). You will need a way to either hook up your computer to your TV (or if you have a gaming system you can get it through there) and everyone submits their answers on their phone but it is worth it.
I mean it’s not that surprising… a vast majority of people have no business trading individual stocks (myself included). Unless you have the knowledge or the time to do your research the risks are too high for most.
Now if we are talking a 30 year old with no experience with index/mutual funds then yes, that’s no bueno.
As someone who lives in a beach town that last paragraph really hits home. Though now it is the greatest time of year. Tourists are gone while the weather is still perfect for the beach
Live in Wilmington which is essentially an island right now (all roads in and out are flooded) The weekend was hell and it does not look like the flooding will get any better until the end of this week. If you can donate please do, while the national news does sensationalize things, it is pretty bad down here so any help is appreciated.
I agree. I have slowly upgraded my wardrobe over the past year or two. By upgrade I mean replacing $15-30 shirts and shorts with something in the $50-$75 range. The difference is noticeable. I can already tell the nicer clothes will last longer, are more comfortable and just look better. Might not be for everyone but getting more compliments from the wife, and even some of my buddies so worth it for me.
Good to see this becoming more of a thing. Living by the beach and doing a few beach cleanups I would say 75% of what we pick up ends up being plastic straws. Plus I think we can all agree Sea Turtles are dope so anything that helps them is worth doing in my book.
Please do yourself a favor and follow that video link to Facebook and look at the pictures they took on top of the gator after the reveal. It’s mouth is tapped but still total psycho move, I love it
My everyday card is the Capital One Quicksilver. Use it as my debit card 1.5% cash back on everything nothing crazy but not too bad either.
Grocery Shopping/Gas: AMEX Blue Cash Preferred, $95 annual fee but 6% cash back on grocery’s and 3% cash back on gas (if you spend more than $31 a week on groceries the fee pays for itself)
Amazon: If you shop on Amazon and have Prime get the credit card, you get 5% cash back on all Amazon purchases and 2% cash back from restaurants
Don’t travel enough to make the fancy credit cards worth it, but the times I have had long layovers, I just get mine on eBay. American sells a one time pass for their lounge for $60 I have gotten it for as low as $25 on eBay and have had no issues. Complete trash move? Yes. Do I care as I drink more than $25 of free booze? No.
Do people really show up that late to a concert? I love listening to the opening bands, especially if they are good, it will get you pumped up for the headliner.

Everything else: Straight cash homie
So are you saying there is a 100% chance you are paying to fly someone you just met across the country to murder them?
I know I don’t
