Nothing really jumps out on this list as being all that pricey except maybe the six pack is wildly expensive and so is a bucket of 6 Bud Lights. If you take out the $60 haircut, the $25 CVS, and the $60 worth of protein powder, the weekend looks more manageable. I’ve had more lavish bar tabs in Austin for sure.
Also yeah, that Manu shot was a back-breaker. Old man still has some tricks left in him
Unfortunately, this weekend was pretty par for the NYC course. Could have been A LOT worse. Usually is, tbh. Not trying to be a hardo, just being transparent
Not necessarily saying my outlook is “positive.” I just think my take is realistic. Moving won’t solve your problems, but it won’t NOT solve them, either. Moving is a TOOL (a major tool) to potentially fix something that is broken. That’s my stance here
No way in hell. Get the job, then move. When we were all looking for jobs out of college, surely we expanded our search beyond where we physically were, and I think the logic shouldn’t/won’t change into your career. I’m shocked a job wouldn’t take someone from out of town seriously.
Idk maybe it’s the field I’m in, but if you’re qualified I’ve never had issues getting to the final interview at the minimum. Same things with friends in other industries as well.
I don’t think anyone believes that simply moving will solve their problems (I’d hope). Simply, they believe that for one reason or another, the move will put them in a better position to solve XYZ.
Nah they were like $12 but I gave a nice tip because I was at a table and the service was excellent. The point stands though.

Think triple-digit dinners, triple-digit bar tabs, more drunk late-night food, etc etc.
Hahahaaa “mine as well” is almost as amazing as “midas whale.” Incredible
Most companies will reimburse you for the travel to their offices (planes, trains, hotels, even meals).

Especially if you’re a Chosen, like me
That’s not real. Refuse to believe this is an anecdote
I’ve been planning to do Croatia yacht week for a while now. Maybe next summer
Wrong.
Yes, you are.

In regards to what I was wearing below the frame, jeans and Nikes. Nothing too crazy
Yeah, so, like, nobody came nearly as close to taking the theme as far as I did. People came looking sexy, I came looking like a freak. Ya feel?
No pics were taken. Use your imagination
Wrong. Have you met me? Ya boi was born to live in Murray (c)Hill
If you’re not making a mad dash to charge it to your card so you can clean up on points, you’re missing out
