Im going to Portugal this Wednesday so mostly preparing for that. I’m disappointed I’ll be missing the live podcast of Micah’s exhibition, but I’m excited for Portugal nonetheless
That actually hurts your argument,as most Americans wouldn’t get approved for those kinds of cards. As much as we complain about our lives on this website, we have to remember that we’re generally doing ok, as that 60k is household income, not per person. Most of this country is struggling just to put food on the table and a roof over their heads.
Never pencil anyone in without checking with the bride and groom. If they say no, you’ll survive spending one weekend away from your SO. My brother made this mistake when my cousin got married and they were pissed for a long time. Plus ones are expensive, if your friend or family member says you’re not getting one, don’t take it personally.
Did you like your job besides the location? In that case, you should’ve asked to work remotely. I’m in the same boat as well. My boss and colleagues are great, but I’ve been wanting to move for a while. However, I’m scared that if I tip my boss off, she’ll ask me to leave earlier than I’m ready to
For sales I’ve heard that’s common. For most jobs, I feel like if they do that it’s either the end of the year, or you were about to be fired or laid off anyway.
*cough* Toddd
Why do you need to go for that?
We’re doing Lisbon, Porto and Sintra

In his defense, it’s shitty outside most of the year in the northeast and Midwest
I’d read that, many readers would relate to that
Maybe you don’t have to be rich, but you need a job that sends you on business trips or more than 10 vacation days a year.

A burger’s always good to pair with a beer. Can’t forget that
If you’re in a border state I agree. But for most people Chipotle’s a decent option for pseudo-Mexican food
Aren’t you in Texas? Then why’re you going to Chipotle instead of a hole in the wall Mexican place or a food truck?
Flights get delayed pretty often
Nothing for tonight, but seeing Hassan Minhaj tomorrow night
That was really great of your boss to give you some leads. Where were you moving to, and how come you wanted to move?

Being a human fucking sucks, I’d rather be a dog honestly

If you’re staying in the same area, I totally agree with this. If you want to move though, it’s easier to quit and move to the new city in many ways.
We respect that. Enjoy your trip
