I’m going with summer as the best time of year, at least for those of us north of the Mason-Dixon Line. Work is still relatively slow, and there are summer Fridays for some of us. Also, no having to clean off the car or shovel snow.
Don’t feel bad, I feel like family’s contentious for everyone. My parents have been married for 35 years and they still bitch about the other side’s family
They’re acquaintances in my opinion. You’re under no obligation to hang out with them with no girlfriend there. However, if they ever ask for your help, you should do what you can for them.
Don’t you live in Texas though? As someone who also lives in a border state, I feel like you’re not taking advantage of it by eating chain Mexican food (with the exception of lunch on a workday).
I love your writing, but this is a trash take. Chipotle’s the best Mexican chain, but a hole in the wall in a border state blows any chain out of the water

This is one of the few times I’m with Duda, I don’t know how I ate lunchables as a kid
A lot of teachers struggle to survive, blame the government don’t blame him
Hot lunch was always awesome, but I wouldn’t be surprised if all the options are trash now, considering the push to make kids healthier
My bad, though now I see how he can accept Taco Bell. I still disagree, but I respect the opinion

That’s crazy, I’ll never forget seeing it on TV
I feel like my brother’s the only person past 30 who still gives enough of a shit to take a day off for his birthday, it’s a trash move imo
I always imagined it being set in anytown, USA. But, I wouldn’t be upset if Will put the city this is set in to a vote
87th and Canal are common street names
Yesterday I found out that kids read about 9/11 in a history textbook, instead of remembering it as something they’ve lived through
Agreed, and I can’t see Girl asking guests to donate to a charity in place of gifts
