Almost overlooked the fact you finally divulged our girl’s name at least I think. You casually dropping the A bomb on us like that…I have had to reread the sentance multiple times just to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
Also suprising is how often I get asked if I know where to find weed. Not just by the younger crowd either. Guys in their 40’s and 50’s with their families there ask more than one would think.
My part time job is as a bartender for a catering company and our main business is weddings. If only people actually followed these rules. You would be suprised how often I get the “I completely forgot to bring cash to this” excuse. Tipping isn’t mandatory but it is how we get paid most of the time.
On a different note, most weddings don’t allow the bar to open till after the ceremony, with good reason. We had a wedding where the bride and groom parties had already been drinking and asked me to serve them before the ceremony. The bride took a full bottle of vodka with her party to get ready, the groom took whiskey. Bad moves. The bride threw up on he dress DURING the ceremony and the best man punched another groomsmen in the face also DURING the ceremony. The groom ended the night by jumping into the pond. Fully clothed. Most entertaining wedding I have ever served.
Sales is a great career, but with a lot of ups and downs. Some months you may kill it while other months you wont, generally this is how it plays out no matter what you sell. The best thing you can do if you go into sales is to save as much as you can (if possible) during the good months.
This was very well written and spot on. Hardy is a scumbag who should be black balled from the league. I give jerry jones credit though, he signed la’ll Collins when no one else would and the kid wasn’t even involved in the issues that were surrounding him.
