I agree with this article, but I think some of it falls on our lifestyles. Most of our parents grew up a little more poor then we did. When they were in their 20s and did things like get married and have kids, they weren’t buying things on Amazon every day and going out to eat nearly as much. I am not refuting anything about this article, but I think that there is a little more to it.
I took an uber today from Nats park back to Reston. My uber driver said he lives in Southern Maryland. He kept saying how much more expensive Virginia is that Maryland. It made me feel great as well
Cleveland gets a bad rap. I just visited a friend there this past weekend. Went to an Indians game, Browns game, and went out all three nights. Sat fourth row behind the Ravens bench and tickets were only $50 each. I spent less than $250 for the whole weekend all events included. Sure, it’s not DC/NOVA, but it was a lot of fun.
