Drop out guy- I live in Wyoming now so I’ve met and befriended quite a few former oil field guys that were mechanics and wrenchers, and there’s great money in it, but there’s a reason why people get out, especially when you’re out in the middle of nowhere in winter and it’s -30 lol. Not to mention the difficulty having a social life and relationships when you’re out in the field for 2 weeks with 1 day off.
