I saw the Trulia article last night on twitter and my first thought was not if it would be covered on PGP but what time would the inevitable article be published.
I attended a similar program except it was 12 weeks and it was called Officer Candidate School. Its run by Marines who help guide you in the ways of the world and teach you all you will need to know about how to be a dysfunctional member of society.
My buddy moved to Japan for work last year. He said their whole not dating thing is due to Japanese dating still being very traditional so men are expected to ask the women out and that Millennial men in Japan are very shy so they wont ask girls out. My friend is a cocky asshole so he has been cleaning up over there.
I have had to read so many emails like this whenever the wife was in a wedding. So glad all the groomsmen do show up for pics and bring a case of beer.
Went to a wedding last month that literally had everything in this article including drones filming and a go pro on their dog, who was a groomsman. Their over the top friend who married them did pass out beers during the ceremony though, so all clichés forgiven.
If your going to get married eventually you guys should just go to the courthouse get married now, don’t tell anyone, and use the tax benefit to save up for your “real” wedding.
While I completely agree that this does nothing to deal with the rising cost of education which I also agree is the most important and root cause issue. The large amount of debt carried by these people does need to be addressed as it has secondary and tertiary effects on the housing market, car market, and the big one Retirements. I would therefore say that a reduction in Interest to zero after 10-15 years rather then forgiveness is a better model. At that point the government has brought in enough interest to cover overhead costs and grow the endowment but allows people to pay the loan back relatively quickly once the entire payment is going to principle.

Couldn’t agree more with this. The Mrs. not only keeps up, but on many occasions out parties me.
It would be cheaper for her dad to buy the ring for Todd now, then keep her on his tab until Todd can save up.
