While your first two examples of Jon Hamm and Chris Pratt were solid (and did give me hope), George Clooney is a product of nepotism as he is related to Rosemary Clooney who was a big star- but hey it’s always been who you know.
Sure. Frankly I think you should tell them as little as possible and just go with the vague “I need to continue to grow,” response. But I see what you’re saying.
Same here. Thought about suicide a couple times. Ultimately stuck it out and things started falling into place. Stay positive, keep talking to people, keep applying, adjust your resume and learn new skills, all that good stuff and I promise you things will turn around eventually.
Eh… While it might be tempting to tell your employer off, try to leave under the best circumstances. The OP has a great reputation, don’t ruin it in two weeks. Another coworker may one day serve as a reference or remember your hard work and decide to recommend you to a hiring manager. Keep cool and stay professional.
Whenever there’s a new social media “outrage” I always imagine a handful of idiots, maybe even just 1 or 2 internet trolls, who are actually upset. The vast majority doesn’t give a shit, people are just bored with their first world life and are trying to grasp at straws for a news story.
Quit.

Lot of people do.
Will, we need forums.
I gave you a “nice work” because I find your animosity refreshing.
In other news people seem legitimately excited about McDonald’s all day breakfast…
I hate pretentious people too, don’t get me wrong. I will say though that you either pay for it now, or you’ll pay for it later. Pick your poison.
No.

Waste of life.
He’s no Knox or Brian.
Chill.
Looking back I would place St. Patrick’s above NYE, but that’s just me.
I agree that thanksgiving is awesome, Rico. However the summer holidays of memorial, independence, and Labor Day edge it out on weather alone.
