Slight mailbag-esque, but when does it become acceptable to take a new relationship as a plus-one? Does it differ between family weddings and friend weddings?
I’m sure this will get it’s downvotes, and in no way do I condone the shoving, but why does the girl in question 1 get a pass for sharing a private story about her boyfriend without his okay?
She only knew of this story because his CLOSE friends told her, and then she volunteers this to a group of different friends that he may not have the same connection to. That crosses a line in a newish relationship. If he wanted other people to know that story, he would have said so and told the story when the topic came up.
Your case is that you invited the husband of one of your fiancees sisters, which is the equivalent of getting along with the boyfriends of your significant others’ friends. That’s not the same as inviting your fiancees actual brother to go to a strip club or talk about how his sister stacks up in bed versus previous hookups.
Last guy – Just move on man, you can probably get past political differences if you can respect each others views and opinions, but religious differences don’t disappear and aren’t things people tend to change about themselves. Especially if kids are in the future plans then the religion argument will be a daily battle and make for an unhealthy relationship.
Think you’re missing the point champ. If you understand the intricacies the game is entertaining, if you don’t then you find it boring where most guys stand around and do nothing.
