As an only child and the only grandchild of my grandmother I constantly get the “when are you going to give me a great grandchild?” every holiday season. At this point I think she just wants to impregnate some random….if she only knew about all those close calls back in college she might sing a different tune…
I’ve been keeping up with this series but haven’t yet commented, but I wanted to tell everyone out there to listen to this man. I NEVER in a million years thought I would move from NYC to Arizona, but when an opportunity arose I grabbed it and didn’t let go. Honestly, it was terrifying and the first few months were pretty tough being away from family and friends. There was a huge culture shock going from the fast paced life in NY to the laid back west coast approach. There were definitely times where I wanted to say “fuck it, I’m going back east” but sticking it out and creating an enhanced life for myself is far and away the best decision I’ve made both professionally and personally. There will probably be culture shock and it may be tough to make friends, but you can always go back to wherever home is, you may never get the chance to take a shot again. Long story long, shooters shoot, don’t be afraid of the boundaries your mind has set for you, they’re only in your head.
This it too much….Girl can be as basic as she wants, as shallow as she wants and as financially irresponsible as she wants, but you start wasting desserts and you’ve made an enemy for life in me
One time in college I was deathly ill and took some Nyquil but was still unable to sleep so I decided to take an Ambien, forgetting that I’d taken the Nyquil. Fast forward two hours when the fire alarm goes off and I’m talking to my hall director in the quad while hallucinating that there were butterflies all over the place and snails crawling all over her. Needless to say, stuff is pretty gnarly.
Character guide is actually really helpful. I knew they weren’t, but I’d just started considering Caroline and Katie alter egos because all these girls are the most insufferable people I pseudo know.
