This is actually great advice. I moved to AZ about two years ago and my friends all thought I was absolutely insane. My quality of life, job performance and emotional well being skyrocketed when I came out west.
Have a guy in the office who doesn’t understand we are work friends and not friends friends. He’s ruined multiple weekends by “calling to chat” and I’ve been trying to weasel my way out of this perceived friendship for months, its the worst
As someone with a MMJ card, it’s been awesome to watch the industry really take off, particularly over the past 2-3 years. There’s definitely still a certain stigma attached to it for sure, but being faced with taking opiate painkillers that are AWFULLY similar to heroin or smoking/eating a little bud, I’m going bud 100 times out of 100. Little tidbit on the reverse vacation theory….you DO NOT want to vacation in Tuscon, just trust me on this. If it was ASU and we were talking Tempe, that’s an entirely different ballgame.
