I’m going to be real with you all. This isn’t going to be the most exciting weekend for your boy. I’ve been taking it easy all week and that trend will continue throughout the weekend. I’m staying in tonight with a bottle of red and then heading to the ranch Saturday and staying the night.
I’m really okay with this because, as you may or may not be aware, I’m heading to Augusta National next week, thanks to Natty Light. If you are going to the tournament or just happen to be in the area, find Ross Bolen and me, along with many cooler people than us, at the Natty Shack. You have to be 21 years of age, of course. There will be free ice cold Natty and a bunch of games and giveaways. Should be fun.

Tonight I have bacon fest, which is exactly what it sounds like. Restaurants from all over the city gather and serve bacon themed food for 3 hours. Tomorrow, who knows. Sunday, going to see Hamilton and then watch the Cubs begin the repeat quest.
Getting drunk and talking shit like most weekends. Might bake a pie on Saturday.

Just got an 8:45 reso at a nice seafood restaurant in Screwston. Going to treat the fiancé to whatever fresh catch of the day she wants and a bottle of wine or two. It’s SHO time tomorrow (anyone else going to be there Saturday or Sunday?) followed by dinner and game night with some friends. Have a blessed weekend everyone.

Final Four is in Phoenix. Got stuck in the traffic of everyone going to the Final Four game though.

Drinking enough alcohol to forget this past week even happened
Tonight I’m going to Costco and tomorrow I’m cleaning all day in preparation for my and my girlfriend’s housewarming party tomorrow night. Not sure how we’ll fit 25 people into our apartment but we’ll figure something out. Sunday will be recovery and softball practice.
