Oh, you haven’t heard? That’s kind of messed up considering we know you listen to every single episode of Touching Base we’ve ever put out.
We know, we know, it’s a Tuesday. No one goes out on Tuesdays except college kids with late Wednesday classes and shitty interns who could go missing for three days and no one would even notice. But this isn’t just any normal Tuesday in Austin, Texas.
It’s the recording of the 100th episode of Touching Base.
That’s huge. People are saying that Touching Base is the first ever podcast to record 100 episodes which is a huge, monumental, and historical feat. Where’s this all happening you ask? Icenhauer’s on Rainey Street. You can literally see every single bit of information regarding this grand event by RSVPing on our Eventbrite. No, it’s not required to show up with a ticket, but we want to know who we can expect to see there.
What you can expect to see tonight:
– Dave railed out on Cold Brew.
– Dillon scoffing at anyone who isn’t a part of HPO Nation.
– Will sweating through his shirt and possibly falling asleep post-podcast.
– Micah preparing tacos that only he can eat because of food laws in Austin.
Don’t worry, we’re going to keep things reasonably low key. Maybe drink a couple Ranch Waters, have some casual conversation, mix things up, and get out of there at a reasonable time because we do, in fact, have to work tomorrow. Will can’t be hungover and write Things Girls Do After Graduation all in one morning.
If you can’t make it, we’ll be attempting to broadcast this live on Facebook. Sure, bar wi-fi is always a little dicey, but literally anything is possible.
Bring a mousepad, buy a shirt, and show up before 8 p.m. when we’re going to start recording. Fun for the whole family. Minus kids because you have to be 21 to get in. Unless your kid is over the age of 21. Then they can come. You get the picture. Just show up.
