That is the problem though, that little word merit. Who decides who merits education? Our society places way too much importance on “everybody gets a ribbon” for me to have any faith in that sort of system.
I’m a Cruz fan, but I don’t have any hope that he gets the nomination. He focuses way too much on social issues for that.
I like him though because I think he probably would follow the constitution better than anyone, and limit the POTUS’s power back to what it is supposed to be for the first time in 20 years.
I don’t have a problem with criticizing comedians in the general public, but I do have a problem when you criticize them in the middle of the show. You paid to be there, and most people have a pretty good understanding that he is making a joke. If you can’t laugh at him/her, don’t go to the show. That simple.
Why should you feel bad about other people wanting to buy you things. To give you a glimpse into a man’s world: There is not one dollar that a man spends for no reason. If a man/woman values your beauty enough to buy you things, then why would you deny yourself that opportunity?
Let me put it this way. If you were a world class athlete, would you feel bad about using your God-given talents to make a living? So why is it different with how you look? The only people who will look down on you are either jealous they can’t be pretty enough to live that lifestyle, or angry that they can’t afford to live that lifestyle.
