Grocery shopping is miserable, and throw a kid in the mix and I’d rather do anything else. Curbside pickup and delivery will always be worth the price for me.
I find it’s even worse on the weekends. At least with the volume during the week people know where they’re going. On the weekends people are even more dumb.
Found a pile of free Southwest Drink tickets (we’re talking about 50) at work and I’ve been getting hammered for free on the last three flights. Don’t expire until 12/18 so I’ve got a happy six months ahead.
I mentioned I wanted to go to Montreal for my bachelor party and my group looked at me like I was high. They were not aware of this. Ended up not going only because it was in March and still fairly cold.
I’m a Cardinals fan, but living in Houston for 8 years I’ve definitely become an Astros fan because that’s how I can get some baseball (missing the NL Central matchups). My following for the Stros has definitely increased the last 3 years, but I was also there during the “2 tickets for $2 with a Powerade label” days.
Fresh ingredients, real meat, freshly baked bread are all requirements for a deli sandwich, but to me the thing that really puts one over the top is the hot press machine. I need one of those at home.
