Maybe it’s just me but I feel like Alyssa is getting worse as this goes on. Also you have to be kind of an idiot to lie about something that can easily be fact-checked on social media
So a couple things… it could just be that his friends, being half a decade older, have a bunch of preconceived notions about you based solely on the age difference and wrote you off a bit from the start. That was definitely something I experienced when I was 23 dating someone who was 28. Is it fair? No. But in general it comes from concern that their friend isn’t going to fall for someone who’s not wanting the same things and then get hurt as a result.
Second thing, from what you’ve described I’m going to assume you probably live in or near Spokane or Seattle (I also live in WA state), and while I can’t speak for Spokane, it is definitely possible to make friends post-college here, it just involves more actively going out and looking for them.
Am I the only one who feels like Alyssa is overreacting to this? And that it’s somewhat uncalled for to basically threaten to ditch Eric and take a guy that’s already shown that he’s kinda into her, or at least interested in sleeping with her?
I’m just waiting for TGDAG: George goes to jail for tax fraud, girl has to get a real job, girl gets treated the way she’s treated other people her whole life…

David McCallum (Ducky) from the original NCIS is also a legend… those two could have their own run at the White House and win if McCallum wasn’t British
Not even a little bit, and if it is, the girl has issues no guy wants to deal with for more than a few nights of drunk/crazy sex…. so the only thing Todd should’ve done with Girl
I also agree with you. Once that type of behavior starts, it doesn’t stop. From multiple experiences (mine as well as two of my friends), once you’ve forgiven that behavior once, it can be forgiven again. And it’s very easy for it to escalate bit by bit until one day you’re seriously hurt or worse. The fact that it took him more than a second after he shoved you not to be immediately remorseful is also not a great sign. Someone who love you, respects you, and cares about you will never intentionally do something to hurt you. And even if you can’t imagine your life without him, if these behaviors continue and you keep excusing them, would you want that kind of life with him?
^ pretty much the exact scenario that occurred the first time my boyfriend and I had sex, also can confirm that it ended up leading to way more sex every day til he started lasting longer
