Company Christmas party tonight where they are only paying for 2 drinks per person. Coworkers and I decided to start pregaming at 2 because of this. I’ve heard of plans to go out afterwards with our boss. Prayers that I don’t do or say anything that puts my job in jeopardy.
My mom has already started hinting about grandkids and I’m only 23 with zero prospects in my life to even date, let alone have kids with. I don’t have the heart to tell her I don’t even want kids at all. Just hoping my sister pops one out soon so she has a distraction.
Been wanting to move for awhile now, but I have an awesome job that’s holding me back. A good job isn’t worth being unhappy because of the city it’s on though. Not saying moving to a new city will magically make me happy, but it sure as hell will help.
Obviously it’s a must when you become exclusive. It’s a gray area leading up to that though, but I think it’s fair game as long as you’re honest about it and your intentions for the relationship.
I’d say in some situations that would definitely be a girl’s way of flirting, but since it’s a co-worker she was probably just curious. I don’t think I would ever try to flirt with a co-worker by asking their height. Then again, that question annoys me so I never use that to flirt with guys unless it comes up naturally in the conversation.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and weekend of the year, but my family celebrates by drinking copious amounts of bourbon and beer, and gambling for 2 days straight, so I may be biased.
Yeah I definitely agree with this too. I’m not naturally very flirty over text, but when I’ve made an effort to be more flirty, even if I feel like it’s forced, I’ve gotten good results.
Totally agree. She should be happy that you’re thinking about your future and comtributing to any type of retirement fund. Sounds like something else could be bothering her and she’s using this as an excuse to take it out on you or she’s just way too controlling. Either way, I’d say get out of that while you can because this is likely just the beginning.
